Off to South Hampton for a Wedding

I'll be heading out to South Hampton to prep for Sarah's wedding.
I'm looking forward to this sophisticated garden wedding.

The Sex in the City's 2 Wedding Cake

The tiered white wedding cake shown here is the actual wedding cake from the wedding in the film!
It was executed by Swarovski and celebrity wedding cake baker, Ron Ben-Israel. The Swarovski crystals are chandelier components and are dripping off the cake, which is sitting on a Lucite stand.













It looks like its influenced by The Top Of the Rocks Swarovski Crystal chandelier!

Scully & Scully Hosts A 30th Birthday Party For The Fund For Park Avenue

McLaughlin said "This anniversary is an important milestone and an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary generosity of the many people who have supported our efforts over the years."

In addition to music by Alex Donner, the celebration featured four spring table settings. Each centerpiece was inspired by the Park Avenue malls: Eleni's New York provided tulip-topped cupcakes for a children's party hosted by Evie Brown and Blair Clarke. Will Ryman lent models of his work that will decorate the malls this January to a table for members of The Fund's Sculpture Advisory Committee. Eugenie Niven Goodman's dinner for famous horticulturalists featured a classic mall by Ron Wendt Design in boxwood and tulips. Event designer Nancy Swiezy hosted a table, in which she envisioned a Buddha visiting a mall.

The Horticultural Society of New York hosted its annual spring gala “Flowers and Design” at 583 Park Avenue. They honored Christian Duvernois, the landscape designer, and David Monn, the floral designer and event planner; and Betty Sherrill, the force behind McMillen for the past half century. Mario Buatta, Chris Giftos, and Bunny Williams were Design Chairs. Their theme was “Legends, Myths and Fairy Tales.” Spectacular displays, fashion, floral and interior-wise were the order of the evening. And being New York, without peer. Our indefatigable photographer Ann Watt got there early to take it all in for those of us who couldn’t be there.
